Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and assess restoration tasks, including but not limited to water extraction, fire damage mitigation, setup of specialized equipment, and demolition.
  • Manage the loading, inventory, and upkeep of service vehicles with necessary tools and supplies for each project.
  • Communicate effectively regarding safety risks, job site observations, and equipment needs with supervisors.
  • Acquire and enhance restoration skills to elevate the SERVPRO brand and foster personal growth within the company.
  • Prepare work areas for restoration activities, including staging and equipment setup.
  • Collaborate with management and fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Execute production tasks as directed.
  • Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup, ensuring the job site is left clean and organized.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and their applications.
  • Prior experience in cleaning or restoration is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • IICRC certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
  • A valid and verifiable driver's license is required.
  • A clean background check is essential.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Capability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Exposure to various chemicals, with safety equipment provided.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, drive, sit, and climb.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Repetitive motions including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects.
