Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, machinery, and conveyors to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including floors, walls, and specific work areas.
  • Perform general warehouse maintenance duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning.
  • Prioritize work orders based on departmental needs and ensure timely completion.
  • Adhere to all Food, Sanitation, and Safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Handle produce according to SQF standards and maintain sanitary conditions in the facility.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and debris daily and clean up spills promptly.
  • Work effectively with supervisors to minimize warehouse shrink and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report any unfixable or unsafe issues to supervisors immediately.
  • Enforce all safety rules to reduce accidents and injuries.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and clean, and report repair or service needs to supervisors.
  • Comply with all applicable company policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of on-the-job sanitation/maintenance experience required.
  • Understanding of general building sanitation/maintenance.
  • Experience operating a pallet jack.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a varying schedule, including nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Work hours may change based on departmental requirements. The job is primarily performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to fast-moving equipment, freezer/cooler temperatures, and other environmental factors.
