Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant or LPN to provide high-quality care to our clients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring patient responses.
- Conduct clinical interviews, gather and record health information, and provide emergency care and first aid services as needed.
- Assist agency physicians in observing and recording client behavior, condition, and response to medication.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and other meetings to stay current on procedures, policies, and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to agency policies and regulations.
- Practical nursing degree from an accredited institution, meeting the requirements for Practical Nurse status in the State of Ohio.
- Training in medication administration and first aid, CPR, and de-escalation techniques.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to meet agency requirements for criminal background checks and driving insurability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
$16-$21 per hour, depending on experience.
