Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Fleet Driver to join our team at Summerhill Landscapes Inc. As a key member of our landscape construction team, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering equipment, hard goods, and plant materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate and safely drive assigned delivery vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
  2. Ensure trailer hitch is securely attached to tractor unit.
  3. Secure contents inside the truck or trailer to prevent damage.
  4. Obtain signatures to confirm delivery and pickup.
  5. Assist team with loading and unloading processes.
  6. Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  7. Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
  8. Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.
  9. Perform safety checks on vehicles and equipment.

Requirements:
  • Valid Class A driver's license required.
  • Clean driving record with no moving violations.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems.
  • Basic Microsoft Office entry knowledge.
