Job Description

The Controller will manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Overseeing payroll processing, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in payroll reconciliations.
  • Managing and supervising the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Coordinating the budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Overseeing cash flow management, including monitoring cash balances and forecasting cash needs.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Providing expertise on ESOP-related accounting matters, ensuring adherence to compliance and reporting requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field.
  • Recent ESOP experience is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You must reside in AZ, FL, GA, ID, MI, NC, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA.

  • A base salary of $130k, with a bonus ranging from 15% to 20%.
