Optical Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Expert to join our team at LUXOTTICA OF AMERICA INC. As an Optical Expert, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of optical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an ambassador for LUXOTTICA OF AMERICA INC, educating customers on the latest optical technologies and products.
• Provide superior product knowledge and take the initiative to accurately describe the features and benefits of various lenses and frames.
• Work in partnership with Store Management to determine growth opportunities for Rx expansion and drive the overall business.
• Foster an environment of learning where all team members become experts in our optical products and service offerings.
• Engage and build relationships with the local community to attract a new customer base.
• Anticipate problems and develop long-term solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations.

Requirements:

• Current State Optician License
• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
• 1+ years of retail sales experience
• Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to open and/or close the store
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written), including strong relationship building skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Optical dispensing experience
