Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bar Service Professional to join our team at The Gathering Spot. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Taking and Preparation: Receive and process drink orders from members, guests, and waitstaff in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Drink Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, to meet the needs of our members and guests.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the preparation of fruit and other garnishes, and the display of glasses and liquor bottles.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests, including checking photo IDs to ensure compliance with age restrictions.
  • Cash Handling: Collect payment from members and guests for drinks prepared and served.
  • Inventory Management: Submit orders or create requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Education and Experience: Completion of mixology or barkeeping training is required, and at least one year of related experience is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and preparing drinks, ability to lift at least 15 pounds, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
