Outpatient Pharmacist

We are seeking a licensed Arizona Pharmacist to join our team as an Outpatient Pharmacist. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions and monitoring patient drug therapy in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards.

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions in the outpatient pharmacy setting, including medication order preparation, compounding, and monitoring of patient medication therapies.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, including advising and consulting on medication-related matters.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate with third-party payers to determine eligibility and obtain prior authorization for medications.
• Assist with purchasing activities and maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Ensure the prescription area is maintained in an orderly and sanitary manner, inspecting medication areas for outdated medications and proper storage.

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Currently licensed in the State of Arizona.
• Prior pharmacist experience in a retail environment.
