Histology Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Histology Supervisor to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. in Henderson, Nevada.

Job Summary

The Histology Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of laboratory personnel engaged in preparing histologic slides from human tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by Pathologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel
  • Ensure the preparation of high-quality histologic slides
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures
  • Collaborate with Pathologists to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate laboratory personnel
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology
  • State licensure, if applicable
  • Board of Certification (BOC) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Histology Technician or Histotechnologist and/or 2 years experience as a Histology Supervisor
