Job Summary:

Whitman Hospital and Medical Clinics is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' overall level of function and develop a plan of care that reflects achievable outcomes.
  • Implement appropriate interventions and adjust visit frequencies to meet the needs of the patient.
  • Refer patients to other team members and/or community agencies as needed.
  • Provide weekend coverage as needed.
  • Delegate and supervise occupational therapist functions to OTAs and supervise OTAs and Therapy Aide following regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy, at the time of hire.
  • Washington State Licensure or the ability to obtain licensure in Washington state.
  • A current valid unrestricted driver's license at the time of hire.
  • Certified in AHA BLS CPR within 30 days of hire.
  • Preferred: Occupational therapy experience in an acute care hospital setting and outpatient setting.
  • Preferred: Experience as a certified lymphedema therapist or ability to become certified.
