Job Title: Client Service Coordinator

At Banfield Pet Hospitals, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Client Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Client Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the exceptional client experience and providing top-notch support to our veterinary medical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Recruitment and Support: Actively promote hospital services and facilitate the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
  • Pet Health and Wellness: Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through efficient and productive hospital operations, supporting the needs of our wellness plan clients.
  • Client Service and Education: Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times, including educating clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
  • Administrative and Financial Management: Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing procedures, as well as conduct administrative functions as necessary.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems, and translate them into practical solutions.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Reads, writes, and speaks fluent English, using appropriate grammar, style, and vocabulary, with exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Ability: Demonstrates a systematic approach in carrying out assignments, with the ability to cut through confusion and turn chaos into order.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems, translating them into practical solutions.
  • Client Service Skills: Consistently ensures the team provides the client with attentive, courteous, and informative service, gaining and showing personal satisfaction from delivering great service.
  • Intellectual Ability: Accurately and consistently follows instructions delivered in an oral, written, or diagram format, with the ability to provide directions.
  • Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and to compute rate, ratio, and percent, with the ability to convert units of measurement.
  • Computer Skills: Comfortably and confidently uses a computer and specialized software.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to Work at a Computer: Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
  • Client Needs and Work Volume: Client needs and work volume may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual Acuity: Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate equipment.
