Responsibilities
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care services that address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care. This role also involves meeting the communication needs of patients and their families under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must possess a current and valid LVN license issued by the state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire and must be maintained.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Previous knowledge and/or experience in wound care is advantageous.
