Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-acuity care to a pre-teen patient in a home setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced LPN to join our team and provide exceptional care to our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and be able to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care for the patient
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician
  • Document care provided in the system of record in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required and obtain co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
  • Follow up with the physician, client, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and/or changes in client condition
Requirements:
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently in a home setting
  • Strong background in pediatric nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
