Culinary Leadership Opportunity at Lira

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team at Lira, a new restaurant offering global cuisine with Italian roots. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ordering and purchasing, safety health and sanitation, and ensuring the quality of meals served in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, motivating, and providing ongoing communication to deliver first-class service.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service standards are maintained through effective training and feedback mechanisms.
• Work closely with the General Manager to deliver high-quality food and service.
• Manage facility and equipment to ensure they are in complete working order.
• Create a positive work environment and promote a culture of accountability.
• Evaluate employee performance and build reward and recognition systems.
• Manage vacation requests and staff absences.
