CDL Vehicle Operators receive a competitive starting wage of

$16.74/hr.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CDL VEHICLE OPERATOR


In this position, you will assist adults with developmental disabilities during their transportation to various programs.

This may involve helping them board and disembark from the vehicle and providing support with their medical equipment, such as:

walkers and wheelchairs. By working closely with individuals with disabilities, you will gain insight into their unique abilities, personalities, and interests. It is

incredibly rewarding

to witness the positive outcomes of your efforts as a Vehicle Operator when the individuals we support reach their goals.

CDL Vehicle Operator QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

A minimum of one year of experience driving vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 26,000 lbs. or more is required.

A valid New York State Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is necessary.

Must be able to pass a background and reference check.

Ability to physically assist individuals who utilize wheelchairs and/or walkers is essential.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with hours varying based on program requirements. No weekend shifts.
