Job Title: Christmas Driver

Join our team as a Christmas Driver and play a vital role in The Salvation Army USA Central Territory's mission to provide transportation and coordination for kettle season.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to transport Bellringers and kettles to and from sites, ensuring a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport Bellringers and kettles to and from sites, maintaining a clean and presentable appearance.
  • Provide badges to Bellringers when dropped off and ensure compliance with all procedures related to assignments.
  • Coordinate with Corps Officers on all disciplinary problems and log drop off & pick up times of Bellringers on route sheet.
  • Conduct periodical site checks throughout the day to ensure that Bellringers are working and assist with daily counting of monies as needed.
  • Secure monies always and ensure compliance with all procedures related to assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • 1-year related experience with a good knowledge of the area.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Clearance of TSA MVR check.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
  • This position is required to do light physical work and is required to drive and set up kettle equipment.
  • This position requires the ability to lift at least 25 pounds and work in an office or outside environment with a low to high noise level.
  • Must be able to drive and maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters and maintains positive relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
