Emergency Veterinarian

Job Summary

Eastern Maine Emergency Veterinary Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. As a critical care veterinarian, you will be responsible for examining and diagnosing diseases and injuries of pets, and treating surgically or medically. You will also collaborate with our veterinary ecosystem, communicate with referring veterinarians, and participate in ongoing education and training to stay at the top of your field.

Responsibilities

* Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
* Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
* Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
* Advise animal owners about sanitary measures, feeding, and general care to promote the health of animals
