_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_

  • Ensure that all food served meets the quality standards of Genuine Foods while adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Serve meals to students and staff with a friendly and positive demeanor.
  • Collaborate with team members to guarantee timely meal preparation and service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas.
  • Organize and stock kitchen and serving areas for efficient service.
  • Promptly inform the Site Lead or Manager of any issues that arise.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
_REQUIREMENTS_

  • Must be adaptable and work well in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in food service or customer service in a busy food establishment or restaurant is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn about the compliance requirements of the USDA National School Lunch Program.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Punctuality and adherence to attendance policies are essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs.

  • Must be comfortable working in a school environment with children from grades K-12.
