Job Overview

Subway - 15279-0 is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our management team as an Assistant Manager in Training. This role is responsible for supporting the store's daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Employee Management
    • Monitor and coordinate employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity.
    • Manage employee payroll, including processing payments and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
    • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, and conducting regular stock checks.
    • Ensure the store is clean and organized, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for customers and employees.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and implement strategies to achieve goals.
  • Training and Development
    • Train and develop new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to employees, helping them to improve their performance and achieve their full potential.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage store finances, including processing payments and reconciling accounts.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales data, inventory levels, and employee performance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field preferred.
    • Previous experience in a retail or food service environment, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and management.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
