Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and refrigeration systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair electrical apparatus, motors, wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment
- Perform evaluations and preventative and predictive maintenance on refrigeration systems
- Repair and maintain building infrastructure and material handling equipment
- Complete work order tasks and log performed work into the CMMS system daily
- Monitor contractors working on or near refrigeration systems and ensure compliance with safety standards
- 1 year of industrial refrigeration experience (ammonia) or combination of experience and trade school
- Successful completion of Refrigeration Operator 1 course and/or CARO within 6 months of hire
- Basic electrical instrumentation experience and ability to read P&ID diagrams
- Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities
