Job Title: Medical Biller SpecialistDescription:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Biller Specialist to join our healthcare team at Georgia Heart Specialist LLC. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate coding, and facilitating timely collections.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on all outstanding insurance claims, including correspondence, denials, and rebills.
  • Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement.
  • Review and resolve any discrepancies in billing information or claims denials.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries.
  • Conduct medical collections as necessary to ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with medical systems, specifically EPIC.
  • Medical insurance background.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to billing processes.
  • Experience with medical collection practices is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take on responsibilities and challenges.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
