Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Amedisys, a leading provider of home health and hospice care. As a Speech Pathologist, you will work with patients in their homes to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Develop and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders
  • Work with patients to improve their communication skills and quality of life
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state you are assigned to work
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Preferred: One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology
