Job Summary:

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our Radiation Oncology team. As a Medical Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in designing treatment plans and ensuring the accurate delivery of radiation therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement treatment plans for radiation therapy and brachytherapy patients
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists to ensure accurate dose calculations and treatment delivery
  • Manage and record patient data related to radiotherapy and brachytherapy treatment
  • Assist Medical Physicists in quality management practices to ensure optimal patient treatment and equipment use

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Medical Dosimetry Program
  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field
  • Active registration with the ARRT or foreign equivalent
  • At least 36 months of clinical medical dosimetry experience under the direction of a certified medical dosimetrist or medical physicist
  • 24 CE credits approved by the MDCB during 36 months of clinical experience
