We are seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist to join our team at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Job Description

  • Assist physicians in managing diagnostic and interventional procedures, providing continuity of care, and observing patient data.
  • Accurately document patient information and administer medication safely while tracking narcotics.
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and adhere to protocols designed to reduce radiation exposure.
  • Monitor inventory and medications, ensuring availability based on anticipated needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement processes and contribute to efficient department operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Texas license as a nurse.
  • BCLS and ACLS certifications required, with 2 years of Critical Care experience.
