Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CSS Technician II to join our team in Surgery Administration at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. As a key member of our Sterile Processing Department, you will be responsible for receiving, decontamination, sterilizing, storing, and distributing all instruments handled by Sterile Processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for receiving, decontamination, sterilizing, storing, and distributing all instruments handled by Sterile Processing.
  • Assembles and disassembles case carts.
  • Ensures all instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored to maintain a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless instrument processing and distribution.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • 2 years of recent experience working in Sterile Processing Department.
  • Certified Tech (CRCST; or CSPDT).
