Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a Travel Nurse RN - Post Anesthesia Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the PACU, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures, technologies, and best practices.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
- At least 1 year of experience in the PACU or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
