Job Overview

Press Brake Operator

Shift: 2nd and 3rd Shift
Location: Erlanger, KY
Compensation: $19 or more based on experience + Shift Differential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interprets engineering drawings to determine the necessary tools, machinery, and materials for fabrication tasks.
  • Prepares, fine-tunes, and operates press brake machinery.
  • Installs, aligns, and secures tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on the press brake.
  • Utilizes hand tools and precision measuring devices effectively.
  • Shapes components to meet specifications outlined in engineering drawings.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Capability to lift weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds.
  • A minimum of three years of experience operating a CNC hydraulic brake press.
  • Proficient in reading and calibrating gauges, selecting appropriate tools, and using measuring instruments such as protractors and tape measures.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, measurements, basic algebra, and essential shop trigonometry.
