Reciprocating Compressor Valve Technician

Position Overview:
The Valve Cell Technician plays a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of machinery, specifically focusing on the repair of reciprocating compressor valves, packing cases, unloaders, and related components. This position demands a commitment to precision and efficiency in all tasks.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $18 to $20.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficient in diagnosing issues with reciprocating compressor parts including valves and packing cases.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Skilled in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 3 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and tools with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism.
• Utilize lathes, mills, grinders, and lapping tables from setup to completion.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering documents to ascertain product specifications and operational sequences.
• Select suitable tools and materials for machining tasks.
• Perform calculations for dimensions and tolerances using precision instruments.
• Fabricate components based on provided drawings or samples.
• Conduct inspections of finished parts to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Foster a collaborative and focused work environment.
• Engage in mechanical work on various compressor components as needed.
