Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct production staff to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Train and develop production staff to improve skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and improve product quality
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to supervisors and managers on production performance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and 5S practices
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and 5S practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with MRP systems and manufacturing software
  • Knowledge of ASME and AWS weld procedure specifications
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects between 25 and 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and reach for prolonged periods
