Opportunity for a Fellowship Trained Otolaryngologist

Carilion Clinic, a leading healthcare organization in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking a fellowship trained rhinology and skull base surgery otolaryngologist to join our team of experienced professionals. As a member of our Section of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, you will have the opportunity to work in a clinic-based, academic program with a focus on teaching, research, and clinical otolaryngology.

Our program provides comprehensive otolaryngology coverage to over one million people in a large, rural, multi-state area. We operate clinics in multiple locations, with plans to expand our services in the future. Our otolaryngologists perform a wide range of procedures, from routine to complex cases, and collaborate closely with neurosurgery, allergy/immunology, and head and neck oncology teams.

As a member of our team, you will have access to a range of educational and research opportunities, including collaborations with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute, and other local institutions. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the education of medical students, residents, and allied health science students.

Requirements:

  • MD/DO, Board Certification/Eligible in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
  • Fellowship Training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery
  • Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in teaching and/or research
