About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at First American. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial information and systems, in accordance with US GAAP and other regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile, analyze, and synthesize financial data from business operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Play a key role in the preparation of public financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and SEC filings.
  • Evaluate the effects of changes in accounting regulations on our financial statements and accounting controls.
  • Execute accounting policies and procedures, and participate in internal and external audits.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with large ERP software, Oracle preferred.
