Key Responsibilities- Medication Management: Count, package, and label medication for inspection by pharmacists and fill routine orders for non-prescription pharmaceuticals.
- Patient Data Entry: Input patient and prescription data into logs and/or pharmacy computer systems to process prescriptions and maintain patient profiles.
- Customer Service: Assist and serve patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the ordering, stocking, and maintenance of drug inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Reporting and Documentation: Assist in the preparation of reports and written documentation, as required by the department, company, state, and federal agencies.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in Quality Assurance and Compliance activities, ensuring adherence to established departmental policies and procedures.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certification/License: CA Pharmacy Technician License, Current valid CPR certification
- Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
- Skills: Bilingual (English/Arabic), Familiarity with basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications, Accurate keyboarding skills
