Wine Advisor Role

At Chicago Winery, we're seeking a skilled Wine Advisor to join our team. As a Wine Advisor, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Chicago Winery wines, history, and operations.
  • Utilize the POS system to place wine orders and manage inventory.
  • Pour wines for tasting and assist guests with retail wine purchases.
  • Provide exceptional service to multiple guests simultaneously, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Conduct winery tours and curated wine tastings, showcasing our expertise.
  • Label wine bottles and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to sanitation, health, and company guidelines, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
  • Address guest concerns promptly, politely, and positively, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and assist with the training of new staff members.
  • Meet grooming, conduct, and uniform standards, representing the Chicago Winery brand.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures as directed, ensuring a smooth operation.
