Job Summary: We are looking for experienced professionals to teach a variety of courses in visual arts, including art appreciation, foundations, graphic design, sculpture, and metals. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in studio art or art history, and a terminal degree in studio art or art history is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in visual arts, including art appreciation, foundations, graphic design, sculpture, and metals
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with departmental goals and objectives
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in studio art or art history
  • Terminal degree in studio art or art history is preferred
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred

Working Conditions: This is a part-time, non-tenured position. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
