Job Summary

Covenant Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the orientation of new LPN/LVNs and nursing assistants, ensuring a high standard of nursing care and satisfactory completion of tasks.
  • Provide direct patient care, including procedures such as catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, naso-gastric tubes, and other treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggestions, and problem areas.
  • Observe and evaluate residents' health, mental, and emotional conditions, and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
  • Participate in report at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure proper information about residents is communicated.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
  • Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
  • One year nursing experience.
  • Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
