Biorepository Technician Job Summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Biorepository Technician to join our team. As a Biorepository Technician, you will play a critical role in the receipt, storage, and shipment of biological samples.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of biological samples, including receipt, storage, and shipment.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to retrieve and prepare biological samples for shipment.
  • Perform quality control checks on biological samples and equipment.
  • Assist in the inventory management of biological samples and supplies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of laboratory experience preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic laboratory skills and knowledge of aseptic technique.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in a cold freezer environment.
