About the Role

We are seeking an experienced data engineer to join our Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) team. As a key member of this high-performing team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient automated end-to-end data solutions and services leveraging Native AWS services such as Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, and Lambda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Product Development: Develop data products, infrastructure, and Big Data solutions and services that meet the needs of the business.
  • Data Modeling: Develop new data models and end-to-data pipelines that ensure seamless data flow.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of other data engineers and software development engineers on data delivery best practices.
  • Infrastructure Planning: Contribute to infrastructure planning and operational excellence continued improvements.
  • Engineering Design Reviews: Lead and participate in engineering design reviews for solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
  • Experience mentoring team members on best practices
