At DoubleTree Redington Beach, we are seeking a skilled Kitchen Porter to join our Food and Beverage team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary department.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of physical activity, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and possess a strong attention to detail.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to assist with various tasks in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining the dishwashing machine to ensure it is functioning at optimal levels;
  • Washing and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, and equipment to the highest standards;
  • Cleaning walls, floors, and other areas of the kitchen as required;
  • Breaking down boxes and emptying trash containers into the dumpster;
  • Assisting with unloading shipments, dating items, and stocking shelves;

In return, we offer a competitive salary of $12.50 per hour, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
