PET/CT Technologist

At Community Health Network, we are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, and diagnostic CT procedures or therapies under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, administer, and document activities related to ionizing radiation, radioactive material, and computed tomography.
- Perform each exam using proper technical and positioning factors in accordance with the protocol manual.
- Verify archival storage of data by tracking exam completeness in both EMR and PACS.
- Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items, and patient monitoring devices.
- 2-year/Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine (Required); 4-year/Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine (Preferred)
- One of the following certifications: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technology (N)(ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Within one year from hire: Certified Computed Tomography (CT) (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) (CT)
- Two years of Nuclear Medicine clinical experience (Preferred)
