Senior Superintendent Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent to lead our national industrial sector team in delivering exceptional construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and track CPM schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee overall general construction budgets and safety programs, providing guidance to personnel.
  • Review and comprehend all design documents, including shop drawings.
  • Assist the project team with material procurement and incorporate into the master schedule.
  • Establish and monitor a quality control program to ensure high-quality work.
  • Value-engineer throughout projects to optimize resources and costs.
  • Make informed decisions and seek creative solutions to problems using available resources.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members and stakeholders.
  • Travel for projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 15+ years of experience in mission critical construction.
  • Post-high school education or equivalent in the construction field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and supervising a project team.
  • Strong working knowledge of BIM and/or CAD and current building codes.
  • Previous experience creating and managing a MS Project schedule, and familiarity with the construction market.
  • Self-motivated and able to supervise and work well with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work space.
