Job Summary:

As a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with an experienced Physical Therapist to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at reducing pain, restoring function, and promoting overall health. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, teaching them therapeutic exercises and stretches to achieve optimal results.

They also treat individuals suffering from personal injuries, particularly those related to motor vehicle accidents, workplace incidents, and other third-party incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Excellence:
Assess patients' motor function and record strength and muscle performance.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists to develop tailored treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and document observations in detailed progress reports.
Evaluate patients' ability to function independently and recommend necessary modifications to treatment plans.
Educate patients on exercises and therapies, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery journey.
Provide guidance on the use of treatment equipment to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Assist with the preparation of reports and contribute to other projects as required.

Administrative Support:
Collaborate with our expert team to develop innovative physical therapy and aquatic treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Contribute to the creation of comprehensive wellness plans designed to facilitate patients' smooth transition back to work, ensuring they return without restrictions and with confidence.
Participate actively in weekly meetings and team huddles, where your input and insights will help drive continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
Active license in the State of Texas.
Minimum of 1 year of prior experience.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
