About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a detail-oriented and organized individual with experience in purchasing or related fields. As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a critical role in securing general materials and construction supplies for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process field requisitions for completeness and accuracy, collaborating with requestors as needed.
  • Release material from pre-negotiated blanket purchase orders, maintaining tracking logs and quantities released.
  • Obtain vendor quotations on requisitions and secure optimal pricing.
  • Process requisitions for purchase, ensuring timely delivery and resolving backorders.
  • Prepare bid invitations for RFQ/RFPs and perform vendor quotation leveling.
  • Assist in generating submittal information for requested commodities, working closely with requesting departments to identify needs.
  • Issue change orders according to revised BOMs and expedite deliveries to maintain optimal field production.
  • Handle return material to ensure proper credit to the project.
  • Review and approve invoices, resolving issues with vendors and A/P as necessary.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field within the electrical industry.
  • Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), with Oracle preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
