We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Wellpath. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to individuals in custody.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions to contribute to individualized treatment planning.
- Implement treatment programs directed by healthcare practitioners, administering medications and performing diagnostic tests according to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate in controlled substance counts and respond to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
- Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
