INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST
Responsible for overseeing inventory management tasks to maintain optimal stock levels. Conducts daily inventory audits, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective measures as necessary. Investigates discrepancies in stock levels and alerts the Supervisor or Group Lead of any irregularities. Prepares and submits inventory reports as required. Addresses inquiries related to products and stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily counts of raw materials, packaging supplies, finished products, and non-conforming items.
- Utilize EPICOR software for processing inventory counts, reviewing current and historical stock data.
- Ensure materials are accurately stored in designated locations.
- Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory items.
- Open packages and containers to count or weigh items to verify quantities on hand.
- Weigh, label, and mark products to indicate remaining quantities.
- Report any discrepancies in stock levels or damaged items to management and publish inventory metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Collaborate on process improvements to address inventory discrepancies and enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives.
