Position Overview

As a Room Care Associate at StepStone Hospitality Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests experience a clean and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily Room Maintenance: Report to the Housekeeping Office at the start of your shift, collect your assigned key, and ensure its return at the end of your duties.
  • Thorough Cleaning: Execute daily cleaning tasks for all designated rooms and suites, which encompass bed making, bathroom sanitation, vacuuming, dusting, and ensuring all room supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Inventory Management: Identify and report any missing items from rooms and suites promptly.
  • Repair Reporting: Communicate any maintenance needs to your supervisor and ensure proper care of the equipment utilized in your tasks.
  • Guest Safety: Uphold the safety and comfort of our guests by being courteous and maintaining security protocols, such as keeping doors closed while cleaning.
  • Lost and Found Protocol: Ensure that all found items are promptly delivered to the Housekeeping office.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A capability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
  • Skills in pushing, bending, stooping, and manual dexterity.
  • Effective communication abilities, including hearing, writing, and reading.
  • A willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
  • A solid understanding of hotel operations and functions.
  • A high school diploma is preferred, along with relevant training and experience.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
