Job Overview

Position: Licensed Audiologist

A reputable and expanding private hearing healthcare practice, Dyd Vision and Hearing Corp, is in search of a dedicated Audiologist for both full-time and part-time roles. The successful candidate must hold a valid audiology license in the state of New Jersey. Candidates with a strong sales inclination and a readiness to embrace our established sales and dispensing methodology will find this opportunity particularly rewarding. The working hours are set from 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

As an Audiologist, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with patients, performing audiometric evaluations, and providing tailored recommendations for hearing aids, ensuring realistic expectations are set from the initial consultation.
  • Creating ear impressions and molds, as well as managing the ordering of hearing instruments.
  • Fitting hearing aids and offering assistance with adjustments, maintenance, repairs, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Providing effective counseling to patients and their families, professionally addressing questions and explaining results.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation and patient records, making necessary referrals, drafting reports, and following up to guarantee exceptional patient service.
  • Adhering to the practice's established goals and policies.
  • Implementing a performance tracking system for patient follow-ups and sales management with both new and existing clients.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2-4 years of experience in hearing aid dispensing for both children and adults.
  • A current and active hearing aid dispensing license.
  • Bi-lingual skills are considered an advantage.
