We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated X-Ray Technologist to join our team at California Medical Business Services. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for preparing patients for radiologic procedures, protecting patients, self, and other staff from radiation hazards, and taking X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. This includes setting up and operating radiographic equipment, implementing infection control procedures, and maintaining required records.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares patients for radiologic procedures, including positioning and preparing equipment
  • Protects patients, self, and other staff from radiation hazards
  • Takes X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
  • Operates radiographic equipment, including setting up and adjusting controls
  • Maintains required records, including patient records, daily log books, and monthly reports
  • Performs quantity and quality control checks to ensure X-ray unit meets standards
  • Cleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiographic equipment
  • Maintains radiographic supplies, film, and orders as necessary
Requirements:
  • Three years of experience as X-ray technician, preferably in medical practice environment
  • Associate's degree in radiological technology from accredited X-ray technician program
  • California Radiologic Technologist required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration required
  • Fluoroscopy License
