Job Summary: As a Certified Surgical Tech at Weeks Medical Center, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-family-centered care in the operating room. Your responsibilities will include handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgeon, and maintaining a sterile field.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a surgical technology program accredited through ARC/STA
  • BLS certificate required
  • Individuals trained in the armed forces of the United States will be considered
  • Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) within one year of hire
  • Two years of recent scrubbing experience in an acute-care facility preferred
