Clinical Laboratory Specialist

St. Johns Regional Medical Center, a Top 250 Hospital in the Nation, seeks a skilled Clinical Lab Scientist II to perform routine and complex testing in multiple areas of the clinical laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will provide training and technical assistance to coworkers, monitor and evaluate quality control, and perform routine maintenance and repair on instruments.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex testing in multiple areas of the clinical laboratory with minimal direct supervision.
- Provide training and technical assistance to coworkers to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
- Monitor and evaluate quality control for testing performed to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on instruments used in the laboratory to ensure optimal performance.
- Two years of clinical laboratory experience as a medical technologist preferred.
- CLS License required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of principles, procedures, and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis.
