Audiologist Position at UPMCUPMC invites you to apply for the full-time Audiologist position on our team. Enjoy a dayshift schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays required.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop unique skills and take on special responsibilities to enhance the department.
- Demonstrate service excellence in interactions with patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians, and other departments.
- Ensure test equipment is well-maintained by monitoring for malfunctions and reporting issues to the Senior Audiologist, Director, or service contractor.
- Administer routine Audiology tests and interpret test results for effective management.
- Provide additional hearing-aid services, including fitting, evaluation, and counseling.
- Contribute to clinical research projects as requested by the Director, handling data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Master's degree or AUD (clinical doctorate)
- Audiology State License in the practicing state (20 hours of continuing education every two years)
- Audiologists maintain privileges at all satellite hospitals and maintain provider privileges (including Medicare UPIN #'s) for all accepted insurance products
